For the longest time I have been lusting over the Aquazurra lace up flats. To be honest that's probably an understatement. As a college student I wasn't prepared to drop a couple hundred dollars on these shoes but Jeffrey Campbell made an identical pair for a much more pocket friendly price. I am obsessed with them because they're a hip and dressy update to the usual drab ballet flat.

Last weekend I spent the day in the art district on Santa Fe avenue. The street is decked with all different art galleries not to mention amazing street art. I decided to do an impromptu photo shoot. It was too good to pass up.

3.1 Phillip Lim Mini Bag

I never used to be into vintage shopping. As a person with OCD, I found the disorganized piles of clothes and mass amount of junk just overwhelming. Over the past year, I've learned how to conquer the art of thrift shopping. The golden rule is to tackle one section at a time. Also go in with an open mind, you probably won't find what you're looking for, and that's the fun of it, it's a treasure hunt. Yesterday, I found a Phillip Lim 3.1 mini bag that I've wanted for years, and it was so much more satisfying than buying it from a department store, because it was a small percentage of the original price.

Florals

"Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." I have to agree with Miranda (The Devil Wears Prada) on this one. There's nothing new and exciting about breaking out colorful flower power pieces, yet every year everyone turns to this print. Maybe art is imitating life? I don't know. Either way even if they're not all that exciting, I get excited for this time of year, when I can wear my pretty floral pieces.
